BA 387 Boy Steven At Macduff, Scotland 1997 Boy Steven is seen here freshly painted after a refit. This boat is a “Scalloper”, and drags metal chain nets across the seabed for shellfish. Scallopers rarely look as smart as this – the hull and paintwork takes a beating from lifting the chains on board – hence the metal sheathing midships to protect the wooden hull Boy Steven was built in 1982 at St. Monans, Scotland |
